Host an Orange Bowl party!

If one of your favorite teams has landed a bid for a major bowl in the Big Confusing System, you're in luck...starting today I'm featuring party ideas for the Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, and Rose bowls! Iowa and Georgia Tech fans are first, with a game plan for an Orange Bowl party.
The Orange Bowl takes place in Miami, which is known for Cuban cuisine. Use that as your menu inspiration, along with some tropical touches. Some ideas to get you started:
Serve orange basil mojitos by Recipegirl.com (photo from Fine Living)
Decorate the space with oranges and cloves in addition to a general football motif and team colors.
Stock up on these Cayman 7" plates from CB2
For food, include Mini Cubano Sandwiches, Cuban Shortbread Cookies, and Citrus fruit salad

Great idea starting with the Orange Bowl. The mojitos look great. May I suggest a lemon flavored one to go with the Iowa Hawkeyes?
