Twelve Days of Cocktails - Day 11: Christmas Cosmo

What's your feeling on cosmos? Played out, courtesy of Carrie & Co. or classic, delicious, and impervious to overexposure? Eh, it's the holidays. Let's not overthink things.

Christmas Cosmopolitan
1/2 oz Cointreau
1/2 oz cranberry juice
1 tsp lime juice
1 oz vodka

Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a skewer of fresh cranberries or float some frozen cranberries on top.

Love cosmos and never tire of them, and the cranberry garnish is a great idea to make it seasonal! Have you considered doing sparkling cranberries ("frosted" in sugar granules) as the garnish?
