In general, city living lends itself to valuing quality over quantity, given the limited space. I am guilty, however, of amassing a sizable tea collection. In one cabinet is an entire shelf dedicated to fruity tisanes, magical blooming flowers, hearty brews in Harrods tins, and all other manner of dried leaves. Sharing the shelf with selections from around the world is "Constant Comment", a spicy black tea that's available at any local grocery store. I only make it when the thermometer takes a dip...the cinnamon and orange flavor is so warming when there's a chill in the air. If you like it too, here's a new way to serve this classic tea:
"Constant Comment" Cosmo (source)
6 Bigelow® "Constant Comment" tea bags
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons sugar
4 ounces vodka
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1) Place tea bags into 11/4 cups boiling water and cinnamon stick, let brew five minutes. Remove tea bags and cinnamon stick, add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Chill.
2) To make Cosmo, mix 2 ounces of the cooled sweet tea with 1 ounce vodka and 1 tablespoon orange juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass, garnish with a strip of orange zest and cinnamon stick. Serves 4

Great series! I'm definitely going to get more closely acquainted with this particular cocktail sometime soon.
A side note: you may want to add this post to the right category, as for right now it's not showing up with the other 12 Days entries when that category is selected.
Thanks for the reminder...I always forget to tag!
