Three clever holiday tabletops

Jen @ SecondCitySoiree These holiday tabletops are sure to add sparkle and flair all through the month of December!
The image of vibrant red berries lying in a sparkling blanket of snow comes to life with this glamorous table arrangement.
The key here is to keep the red to a minimum. White and silver should be the predominant colors on your table, with red being the only accent color.
Centerpiece
2 red berry branches
1 white berry branch
(feel free to improvise, based on what's in stock at your local craft store)
Small white floral pellets
Vase
Simply fill the vase with pellets and arrange to your liking! It really couldn't be easier.
Runner
This runner is just "silver dot" fabric from the fabric store.
1: Maloda Swarovski Crystals Champagne Flute ($30 at Crosell & Co)
2: Tree placecard holder/ornament ($10, set of four at Crate & Barrel)
3: Match Pewter Convivio Dinnerware, Classic White ($76-$84 at Crosell & Co)
4: Etoile Napkin Rings ($28.95 for set of four at SavvyHostMarket.com)
5: Etoile Salt & Pepper Shakers ($36.95 at SavvyHostMarket.com)
6: Drink Charms ($9.75 for set of four at Pampered Chef)
7: Etoile Grande Champagne Flutes ($56.95 for set of two at SavvyHostMarket.com)
The great thing about this theme is that you can use vintage or antique items you've inherited (or borrow from a relative who still has them). Keep it from looking stodgy with cool pastels, a few faux-retro accessories, and a fun feathered tree.
Centerpiece
1 styrofoam cone
2 white boas
Masking tape
Silver ribbon
Vintage ornaments with hooks
Starting at the top, wrap the cone with one boa, and then the next. Tape it in strategic spots as you work. Cover the bottom with silver ribbon, as shown. When the entire cone is covered, stick hooks into the foam, and place ornaments on hooks.

Top Right: Contempo Serving Set, Brushed Stainless Steel ($28.95 at SavvyHostMarket.com)
Bottom Right: Square Napkin Rings/Placecard holders ($14 for set of four at Pampered Chef)
Let the natural beauty of your table shine through with this setting (hint: a brown Sharpie does wonders for disguising little table nicks!)
Centerpiece
Rosemary tree
Trifle bowl
Berry sprays
Plaid ribbon
Nuts in the shell (I used chestnuts)
Place rosemary tree into a large trifle bowl. Surround with chestnuts or hazelnuts. Cover the bottom with a length of pretty plaid ribbon. Place berry sprays throughout the rosemary tree.
1: Trifle Bowl ($39 at Pampered Chef, shown here without base)
2: Buri Animal Ornaments ($6.95 at Crate & Barrel)
3: Salzburg Apertif Glasses in Frost White ($24.95, set of four) and Vienna Linen Runner in Chocolate ($32.95) (Both from SavvyHostMarket.com)
4: Artesia Charger ($12.95 at Crate & Barrel) and Pillivuyt Quartet Square Plate ($13 to $30 at Crosell & Co.)
