Looking forward to seeing the movie. I adored the book My Life in France when I read it a few years ago. WGBH sells a dvd of some early Julia Child shows which are really amusing. She was really fearless about food (as anyone who has seen the tripe show can attest!) and not scared to make mistakes. I can't imagine seeing Martha Steward drop something on her show!

"My Life in France" has been sitting in my "to read" pile for a long time. I think the movie has inspired me to dust it off and dive in.

And no, as much as I love Martha, I can't imagine her dropping something.
