Urban Myth Cocktail: Grown up "Pop Rocks and Coke"

Remember the urban legend that says eating Pop Rocks candy followed by a gulp of soda will make you explode?  Well, it doesn't.  It didn't kill Little Mikey of LIFE cereal fame, nor will it do anything to you.  It is, however, pop-y and sort of fun, and that makes this sophisticated variation on the childhood dare a good cocktail for your Halloween party:

Grown up Pop Rocks and Coke
Rim a champagne flute with honey. (how-to)
Dip into Pop Rocks candy.
Fill with dry bubbly of your choice.
Drink and enjoy!
