Brilliant "Mad Scientist" Party

In my spare time (haha!) I judge high school dance teams and color guards. A comment I often make to the performers is that they need to embrace their character in order to do a better of job of displaying emotion and understanding. For instance, they're no longer Susie Flag Twirler but rather, Maria from West Side Story. What was Maria like growing up? What's a typical day for her? And how does all that tie into why she's so upset when Tony gets shot?
In other words, to really create emotion and drama, you need a backstory.
Well. Here's a party with a backstory.
Designed by fellow Chicagoans John and Andrew of STUDY and explained on Brooklyn Limestone, this Mad Scientist Dinner Party makes me giddy with its commitment to detail. Stop what you're doing and go look at the photos, and read about the man behind the madness.
Genius. Bravo, STUDY...bravo!
