Pumpkin Chai Martini

I was going through some old posts yesterday and couldn't believe I didn't share this recipe with you last autumn! Mea culpa. Here's one of my favorites for fall - the Pumpkin Chai Cocktail.  This recipe calls for pumpkin puree...now, I know they sell those pumpkin liqueurs in liquor stores this time of year, but in my experience they taste like orange-colored syrup. Bleh. Let me know if you find a good one. That would be useful to know for other recipes.

Pumpkin Chai Cocktail

3oz Voyant Chai Cream Liqueur
1oz vanilla vodka
1/2oz pumpkin puree (you can make your own or get it in a can)
Cinnamon sugar and honey for rimming

1) Rim the glass with honey and dip into cinnamon sugar (here's how to do that)
2) Combine ingredients with ice and shake until pumpkin puree is well incorporated
3) Pour into rimmed cocktail glass and enjoy!
