Today is the day-before-Lent, aka Mardi Gras, Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day, Paczki Day...so many names for one day of revelry. Most Americans are familiar with some Mardi Gras traditions, but did you know about:
The Goan Carnival in India
Brazilian Samba Schools
The Mystic Societies of Mobile, Alabama and the Krewes of New Orleans
Pazcki Day in Polish-American communities
What do YOU do for Fat Tuesday?

It's far from a tradition, but this year's Fat Tuesday involved the consumption of Girl Scout cookies.
Ooh, I like that tradition! Still waiting for my Girl Scouts to deliver their cookies...
I'm like Andrea. I consume lots of GS cookies! I must try a pazcki though
