This site started in its current form exactly one year ago, on March 1st, 2009. What a GREAT year it's been! I've met so many terrific people and had some really wonderful opportunities. I feel like celebrating with some cake! But what type to choose? I turned to Flickr for a little inspiration and found some beautiful cakes:

Yes, it's true! If you win this giveaway, Foiled will choose 12 of their delicious cupcakes and delivery them next week to your work or home PROVIDED it's within their delivery area. Here's how to enter:
1) Check to see if you (or your intended recipient...yes, you can have these delivered to someone else if you're altruistic like that) is in their delivery area. If you're not, I'm very sorry. :( I am sending you cupcake-flavored thoughts.
2) If you are, leave a comment below saying which Foiled Cupcakes flavor sounds the most tempting. Also, tell me which town you'd like them delivered to (this is to weed out people who didn't read #1)

okay, i went to a shopping event some months back and met mari of foiled cupcakes; can't recall if she had the mint or choc full of cherries cupcakes there - but they were DELICIOUS!!! i've been dreaming of ordering a batch (whole unemployed thing is a henderence); to have some delivered to me here in Chicago (Lakeview) would really make my day!!

Ooey Gooey sounds incredibly tempting. Its description has me envisioning caramel filling oozing out as I eat the yummy chocolate cake and matching caramel buttercream. Mmm, caramel! It sounds like biting into a delicious, soft caramel with the addition of chocolate cake!! It fulfills me chocolate and caramel cravings in one delectable bite!

Umm.. wow. All those flavors sound amazing! The top of my list, however, would be Give Me S'mores or the Everybody Loves Chocolate! Mari has actually delivered to our Chicago office before, so I'm sure we're in the delivery area! :) We're big fans here.
