It's my birthday...but YOU can win cupcakes!

Ok, so it's not my birthday, but rather, Second City Soiree's!

This site started in its current form exactly one year ago, on March 1st, 2009.  What a GREAT year it's been!  I've met so many terrific people and had some really wonderful opportunities.  I feel like celebrating with some cake!  But what type to choose?  I turned to Flickr for a little inspiration and found some beautiful cakes:

Bold or Delicate?

Left by Tortentante, Right by semalo63

Or perhaps one of my favorite things?

Mini Cooper by cakesbyshaina, Teapot by Temeraire, Dachshund by Evanhaslanded, Louboutins by BCake NY, Passport by Apple-Butter Bakery, Sushi by Whipped Bakeshop

Or MAYBE with some cupcakes by Foiled Cupcakes?  In fact, how about if I give you some cupcakes?

Yes, it's true!  If you win this giveaway, Foiled will choose 12 of their delicious cupcakes and delivery them next week to your work or home PROVIDED it's within their delivery area. Here's how to enter:

1) Check to see if you (or your intended recipient...yes, you can have these delivered to someone else if you're altruistic like that) is in their delivery area.  If you're not, I'm very sorry. :(  I am sending you cupcake-flavored thoughts.

2) If you are, leave a comment below saying which Foiled Cupcakes flavor sounds the most tempting.  Also, tell me which town you'd like them delivered to (this is to weed out people who didn't read #1)

3) Be sure to include your email address, so I can contact you.  Your email will remain private.

This contest is now closed. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 5th.  Good luck!

Open to US residents 18+
Cupcakes can only be delivered to specified delivery area
Cupcakes will be delivered on a mutually agreeable time during the week of March 8th-March 12
Winner will be chosen randomly

Happy 1st blog bday!
What a fun giveaway....
I'm in Chicago and Baby Carrot Cake is really tempting!

I would love some cupcakes delivered to me in Chicago. Just one flavor is hard to choose, but I do have a soft spot for peanut butter so the PB no J sounds fabulous!

Ooey Gooey sounds incredibly tempting. Its description has me envisioning caramel filling oozing out as I eat the yummy chocolate cake and matching caramel buttercream. Mmm, caramel! It sounds like biting into a delicious, soft caramel with the addition of chocolate cake!! It fulfills me chocolate and caramel cravings in one delectable bite!

I'm in Logan Square and work downtown.

I love your blog! It's given me lots of entertaining and cocktail ideas. Congrats! I look forward to another fun year of blog posts!

Umm.. wow. All those flavors sound amazing! The top of my list, however, would be Give Me S'mores or the Everybody Loves Chocolate! Mari has actually delivered to our Chicago office before, so I'm sure we're in the delivery area! :) We're big fans here.
