With the release of the latest installment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse, all you “Twi Moms” and other adult fans can celebrate with a chic Twilight themed party at home. Here's a tasteful pre-movie dinner party that sets the mood and allows you brush up on your Twilight knowledge from the first two films.
Decor
The overriding motif is a red, white and black color scheme reminiscent of the book covers. Red and white roses in black vases are simple and add a romantic yet chic touch to any room.
Create several stacks of Twilight books (you may need to borrow additional copies from friends) and adorn each pile with an apple candle. The image of the apple is found on the cover of the first Twilight book and represents the “forbidden fruit.” If you can't find an apple shaped candle at the store, a unique alternative can be made from a fresh apple. Slice off a thin piece of the bottom of the apple to create a sturdy base. Then carve a circle (about the size of a quarter) out of the top of the apple. Insert a tea light into the opening.
Cover your dining surface with black and red candle sticks. Candles provide lighting while developing a feeling of intimacy and mystery.
Tie red ribbon - similar to that pictured on the cover of Eclipse - around the bases of the candle sticks and also use as napkin rings.
Drink & Dine
Let’s talk menu. To start, the Bloody-tini Cocktail is a perfect fit for a vampire infused party. Offer a red non-alcoholic option by mixing cranberry or açaí juice with sparkling water and lime for garnish.
Who remembers in the first film when the Cullens made Bella “Italiano” for dinner? For the main course, any Italian pasta dish will do. Finish off the meal with Charlie’s favorite Thursday treat, a berry cobbler. For a simpler dessert, wolf shaped cookies will do the trick.

very cute idea! now if only we were moved into our apartment to throw this party ;)
Love this! Thanks for sharing!!!
Most Twilight themed parties (or vampire) end up looking very tacky with too many cheesey gimmicks. This is classy and definitely more sophisticated then the rest.
