Pickle Pops for a Baby Shower

Pickle granita? Sure, why not! This morning I spotted something I thought I'd share with you.  I was on Facebook and saw a photo of a friend and her sister eating...Pickle Popsicles?

A quick Google search proved that yes, such a thing exists, and I immediately thought it would be a cheeky addition to a baby shower.  You know, playing on a "cravings" theme?

The packaging is a little cartoon-ish, so should you decide to serve Pickle Pops, you might want to open several, let them get slushy, and create a pickle granita display of sorts.  I haven't sampled them so I can't vouch for their tastiness, but I do like pickles and I see that the pops are made from, essentially, squished pickles - no additives!  Might be interesting.  Order Bob's Pickle Pops online.

cute idea, but one should play off the mom's actual cravings. Obviously, not everything would work. For example, I craved chocolate milk and cheez-its. Not separately, they had to be together. But, that wouldn't necessarily work for a popsicle! :)

Yes, I definitely agree that the cravings should be based on what mama-to-be is actually craving! If her stomach turns at the sight of pickles, then no pickle pop granita for her!
