Here's part 2 of the Nantucket (or Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard) Real Soiree featured yesterday! While my party was a bash for 70, this is a more intimate dinner party featuring a classic seaside menu and a delicious drink. No matter how many guests you host, make more lemonade than you think you'll need...it tends to disappear!
Dish
Starter: Chilled Blueberry Soup
Main: Lobster Bake
Dessert: Peach and Cherry Galette
Drink
Nantucket Lemonade
from Punch by Colleen Mullaney
3 cups vodka
5 cups lemonade
2 cups cranberry juice
3 TBSP lime juice
2 cups ginger ale
Garnish: frozen cranberry and lemon slices
Combine the lemonade, cranberry juice, lime juice and vodka in the punch bowl and mix well. Just before serving, slowly pour in the ginger ale. Add the ice cubes. Garnish with the frozen cranberries and lemon slices and serve immediately.
Serves 12. I quadrupled the recipe and served it in the large drink dispenser pictured, but you could just as easily scale it down for a few people.
