How to Re-Use Your Wedding Ceremony Flowers

Charlene Liang - Weddings When you want to maximize your floral budget, opt to re-use your ceremony décor so that it pulls double duty at your reception. Below are just a few examples of how this can be done tastefully...
Line the aisle with tall vases filled with submerged flowers or petals and top them off with a floating candle. Then use the vases to line the head table.

One of the most cost-effect tips is to re-purpose the aisle pieces as your centerpieces! These tall, slim candle holders offer height along the aisle, but aren't so intrusive that they'll get in the way of dinner conversation.

Here, purple hydrangeas are moved to the reception and used as accents on the soon-to-be sweets table. Remember that flowers can also be transplanted from one type of container to another. Bridesmaids bouquets can also be temporarily placed in a container and used as décor.

Naturally you'll need someone to coordinate the transportation. It's best to have one person in charge, a few assistants to help, and clear, written instructions detailing what goes where. Also, be sure to allow set-up time before the guests enter the reception space. Have fun repurposing your beautiful ceremony florals!

I just love the low square flowers with the tall thin candles. So perfect and allows you to put a lot on a table in a small space. I will be using this idea with my garden themed birthday parties.
